CAFA-NC's "Taste of China" Chinese Food and Culture Festival

Details

There is a new Chinese food festival in town, and you bet we're going to be there to investigate. Ordering food is also one way to practice your language skills, and the CAFA-NC members might be great conversation partners for our more fluent Mandarin speakers. Thanks Mitch for finding this event!

Description from the event webpage: https://www.facebook.com/RTPchinesefoodfestival/ "The Chinese-American Friendship Association of North Carolina (CAFA-NC) is hosting its first annual 'Taste of China – Chinese Food and Culture Festival'. The festival features delicious Chinese food, traditional arts display and live performances at Bicentennial Plaza in downtown Raleigh on October 6, 2018 from 11:30am- 6:00pm."

The site to register is here: https://nccafa.org/taste-of-china/#subscribe It only asks for your name, email and number of attendees. I have seen nothing about a cover charge anywhere, but if you see a cost let me know and I'll update this description. The event is free and the food vendors should accept both cash or credit.

I will be there from 11:30am-2pm, though the festival lasts until 6pm. At 11:30, we can meet at the Worth Bagley Memorial statue. After 11:40 call (3o1) 541-3395.
