Pool and Pizza Party Saturday April 6

Hey - Just wanted to pass this onto the group. I did this event when I first moved here and it was a great way to meet people and dust off the gear!! I would call to register so they have an idea of how many are attending - and they need to know how much gear to bring if you need to borrow some.

Pool and Pizza Party

Saturday April 6

From 6-7:30 PM at the Triangle Aquatics Center at Cary Town Mall (Behind Sears)

Followed by pizza at The Loop on Kildaire

Cost is $30 including tanks, all-you-can-eat pizza and soft drinks

This is a great chance to test out your equipment or refresh your skills prior to the local diving season.

Down Under will be bringing lots of cool gear to try out, so come prepared to have fun. We'll also have an artificial reef to practice photography. Tanks are included at no charge.

One of the most popular items in the past has been the DPV's (you know, u/w scooters). We'll have them for you to play with as well! And new this year - we will have 5 fully tricked out Seal Life Digital Camera's to play with!!

Got friends that are not yet divers?

Down Under Surf and Scuba will be doing a FREE Discover Scuba event at the pool party. This is a perfect opportunity to come see what scuba diving is all about. (Participants will pay for the pool and pizza party, but the Discover Scuba (normally $50) is included for free!)
