Windows Event Logs... You know they contain a ton of useful information, but they aren't exactly the easiest to search. Let's face it, everyone can use some helpful pointers on how to efficiently search event logs! Join Phil Bossman as he shows you the ins and outs of Event Logs and tricks he has developed over the years to making searching "less painful".

Phil is an accomplished Windows administrator and is a Citrix architect for a national building materials supplier. Phil has a passion for technology, automation, and learning all things PowerShell. Phil is here to help anyone get started searching event logs quickly and efficiently. He's got tips for PowerShell n00bs as well as the veterans alike. This is a local meeting that will be held at the MetLife campus in Cary but we'll also have a virtual meeting option for people who can't attend in person. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm and the presentation will start at 7 pm. The first half hour is for members to socialize, eat and cover any announcements that are related to our group. The link for this meeting will be posted the day of the meeting to people who have RSVP'ed yes to this event.
