Youth Strike for Climate in Santa Fe

Next Friday 3/15, New Mexico students from across the state will converge in Santa Fe to demand immediate and bold action on climate change.

This is part of a nationwide student strike and one of 80 coordinated actions in 35 states, along with over 600 strikes in 70 countries. The event starts at 10:30 AM at Santa Fe Plaza, includes a march to the state Capitol, the Roundhouse, and will include speeches by youth and NM environmental leaders and performances by Indigenous people.

This is primarily a youth-led event, but they are calling on all New Mexicans to show up in numbers to show support.
