About the Alief Super NeighborhoodOrigin of ASNC

During his administration, Mayor Lee Brown created 88 Super Neighborhoods in the City of Houston to encourage community involvement and solve problems at the community level. The Alief Super Neighborhood Council (ASNC) #25 was officially recognized on June 22, 2000. Since then, the ASNC has worked to improve many facets of our community to benefit ALL ALIEF RESIDENTS including residential areas, streets, lighting, security, parks, and youth programs.

Each super neighborhood represents a group of civic clubs, places of worship, businesses, and other institutions and community interests. These groups, working together, decide which improvements are needed. The Super Neighborhood program was made part of the City of Houston Code of Ordinances in 2003.

Woodlands Pride Festival

Town Green Park

This year's festival theme is 'Love Connects Us All'

Things will be a little different at this year's festival due to the ongoing pandemic. Face Masks will be encouraged, elimination of Festival VIP Tent and Kid Zone, and sanitation stations will be throughout festival grounds.

We believe after the last year and a half, it's important for the LGBTQIA community and allies to be able to come together and share what is LOVE CONNECTS US ALL!

With this year's festival being pushed back a month later than usual, the weather will be MUCH COOLER, woohoo!

And with this year's festival being the day before Halloween, we encourage all exhibitors to participate in our festival Trick or Treating!

With the adjustments we are making inorder to host this year's festival, Exhibitor Rates will be significantly reduced for this year only.

When: Saturday, October 30th, 2021

Festival Hours: 12pm to 5pm

Location: Town Green Park - The Woodlands, TX
