DACA Rally at Doña Ana Community College, Gadsden campus

LAS CRUCES - A rally, student art show and artist reception in support of and solidarity with DACA and the Dreamers is planned from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at the Doña Ana Community College, Gadsden campus, 1700 O’Hare Rd., Anthony, New Mexico.
The students at DACC will voice their support for their friends, family and the community at large who are affected by the DACA program. In conjunction, a DACC student art show will exhibit works expressing student concerns and support. George Mendoza, a local artist, will be a guest speaker. He will be honored for his donation of art works to the DACC Gadsden and Sunland Park campuses. The rally will also serve as a forum for student testimonials, poetry, and personal narratives.
