SUPPORT FELLOW AMERICANS IN PUERTO RICO

Online event

• What we'll do Puerto Rico was devastated by the path of two gargantuan hurricanes in a span of two weeks. They plunged the Island into a total blackout for weeks. The Corps of Engineers that had been contracted by the Island’s government did not lift a finger for a month. Still today, one-third of island residents lack electricity. To make things worse, Congress enacted a Tax Reform that treats the 3.5 million residents of Puerto Rico as foreigners and strips the Island of its economic base. Your fellow American citizens of Puerto Rico need your support now. PLEASE SignPetition AwareCitizens.org/Fairnessforpuertorico.html • What to bring • Important to know

Join Conference Call From Your Home

Needs a location

Organize Alabama: Our Monday night conference call (8:00 pm) will focus on the difference between "Liberal" and "Progressive". Pat Siano will be leading this discussion with some opening observations and life experience. We will then open it up for comments, questions, clarifications, etc from participants. Lou Willie will be able to monitor anyone online and folks who cannot get online but call in will need to mute their phones except when asking a question or making a comment. We are working on getting a registration form for the statewide conference on Saturday, April 29th in Montgomery. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE on your personal calendars. This will be one of the only times that progressives from around the state will be able to come together for a day and get training on critical work that will need to be done in our communities and counties...so please SAVE THE DATE...and watch this coming week for the official registration form.Monday, March 20, 8:00 pm CSTCall in number:(712)[masked]Access Code:339356Online Meeting Link:join.freeconferencecall.comFREECONFERENCECALL.COM
