NY's 27th Congressional District Indivisible Town Hall + BBQ
Details
Rep. Chris Collins has been invited to answer questions from his constituents. If he declines, we have a panel of experts in various fields (health policy, education, immigration, environment, and others) to field questions from the audience.
Republican Collins of NY 27th also received $57,500 from donors in the telecom industry during his most recent election cycle before he recently voted to reverse a landmark FCC privacy rule (http://www.theverge.com/2017/3/28/15080436/us-house-votes-to-let-isps-share-web-browsing-history) that opens the door for ISPs to sell our customer data. The only people who seem to really want this are the people who are going to make lots of money from having private web histories quietly sold to third party willing to pay for it.
BEGINNING AT 6 PM:
The fire hall will serve pulled pork sandwiches and side dishes to anyone wishing to have dinner before the Town Hall meeting starts at 7 pm.
