This age-related decline in physical function can be slowed or even reversed with the proper application of resistance exercise.
Dr. Andrew Layne, PhD, CSCS earned his PhD in exercise physiology from the Dept. of Aging & Geriatric Research at the University of Florida. He has published extensively in the scientific literature regarding exercise interventions for older adults, and has won international awards for his publications. Through his years in research and academics, Dr. Layne has improved the health and physical abilities of countless clients and research participants. He looks forward to helping you live a long, healthy, and independent life.
Join us for 45 minutes of resistance exercise designed to help you perform daily tasks more easily and to keep you mobile into late life. Exercises can be scaled to accommodate for different levels of function.
Class meets every Monday afternoon from 1:00-1:45pm. First class is free! Cost to attend is $125/month.
