Having Responsible Conversations in Project Management

Details

WHY ATTEND THE EVENT?
This is a difficult time for all of us. In a very short time, we have moved from established patterns of work to a very uncertain scenario. We will therefore need to have difficult conversations as part of our personal and professional lives. In this session, we will explore our thoughts and feelings, intentions and consequences in relation to having responsible conversations. We want to start supporting you to have a responsible conversation with any stakeholder.

This event is the inaugural Lunch and Learn session from the Responsible Project Management team. The purpose of these to allow Project Managers to share experiences and gain some useful knowledge that you can apply in your practice.

BACKGROUND
Responsible Project Management (RPM) was initiated in 2018 as a funded research project by Dr Karen Thompson (Bournemouth University) and Dr Nigel L. Williams (University of Portsmouth). The world has a major challenge right now and we are all stakeholders! We need to adapt to cope. As project managers we can become aware of our strengths, responsibilities and become ready for a potentially new future.
