Marvellous Makerspaces!

We're super excited to host MIDAS Lab Director Brad Pommen as our August Tech Meetup presenter. MIDAS is a fabrication lab located in Trail, BC, and he wants to spread the word that Revelstoke folks are welcome to come use the facilities to help grow their businesses using modern manufacturing technology. He'll be talking about the makerspace movement, MIDAS, using makerspace tech for businesses, and more. Lots of time for questions and discussions. Thanks to the Kootenay Association for Science and Technology for helping us put on this regional tech event, and thanks to Community Futures for sponsoring!

Then on Saturday, August 26, he'll be running two certification courses which will allow you to use that piece of equipment at MIDAS. Registration is limited to 12 participants per course, so sign up early.

On Saturday afternoon we'll be touring Lortap, USED Recycled Seatbelt Bags and Trapper Snowboards to check out their equipment! Meet at 4:00 to join the tour.
