The journey of a start from Freemium-No-SLA-Moms-And-Pops tool to a enterprise grade platform for fortune 500 is not only business story. The evolution from a tool to a platform , from a Microsoft shop to versatile open source environment, between clouds and architectures taught us so much and we want to share. We are now ingesting and processing above 100 billion signals a day and doing it with tight SLAs. I will review in detail some of the problems we had in the process of scaling, how it effected us, how we bypassed them and how we try to avoid falling back into similar traps...
