Join the Smithfield Land Trust to explore the Vernal Pools of Wolf Hill Forest Preserve and enjoy the beautiful vista that looks out to Providence and Narragansett Bay!
There are 5 vernal pools in this hidden gem property in the center of Smithfield. We will learn about the environmental importance of Vernal Pools, what creatures use the pools, and how the vegetation enhances the lives of the salamanders, turtles and frogs.
This event is free and suitable for all ages. Rain or shine, so dress according to the weather! Be sure to bring bug spray and water.
