Seed Starting Workshop

City Farm Steward Rich Pederson and Program Associate Jariliz Taveras will share techniques for seed starting, walking you step-by-step from seed ordering to transplanting starts outdoors. Join SCLT at Urban Agriculture Kick-off (UAKO)

Join us as we kick-off the Spring growing season! Free and open to the public! http://www.southsideclt.org/urban-ag-kickoff/ What to expect: For SCLT members: Come out to pick-up up to 50 gallons of compost (If you are not a member yet sign-up here: https://secure.donationpay.org/southsideclt/membership.php or join the day of). Please bring bins to carry your compost away. For everyone: Free non-GMO, organic and heirloom vegetable, herb and flower seeds, low-cost locally made organic fertilizer, expert advice for growing organically, workshops, and fun activities for the kids. UAKO is held a four different community gardens around the city. Rain date: April 14th
