Before the meet up:
1. Acquire an empty journal--mixed media, an old book, whatever!
2. Assign a theme to your journal that inspires your own creativity.
3. Make the first entry into your journal yourself.

At the meet up:
1. Bring your journal and a willingness to discuss your theme and your response.
2. We will go around the room to share theme and response.
3. We will swap journals to take home and respond to.

YES--someone else will take your journal home! And you will take someone else's. During the next 4 weeks, you'll respond to that person's theme creatively and come back to share, discuss, and swap again.
