Join us for a cosy festive candlelit evening of immersive healing sounds of the cello and gongs, surrounded by warm twinkly lights.
The beautiful Richmond Unitarian Church dates back to 1896 and has incredible acoustics which is perfect for sound healing in a sacred space.
The evening will open with an emotive live cello performance by the accomplished Angel, paired with inspirational poetry readings. Leading on from this, you will be taken on a 90 minute sound bath journey with Pareena and Chetna. An infusion of instruments including singing bowls, planetary gongs, hand-pan drums, chimes, bells and voice to awaken the senses and bring deep restorative sound healing. We close the evening with chai and a solo cello performance by Angel.
Sound and Gong baths are known to bring many benefits including bringing inner stillness where deep healing can occur. They can also strengthen the nervous system and balance the chakras thereby increasing energy/vitality and alleviating stress.
Warming masala chai, vegan pie and dessert will be served by One Ruh and can be ordered in advance.
Chetna regularly runs events, workshops and retreats. She is a gong master, reiki master and teacher in various modalities of healing and has over 20 years of experience and training. She is the founder of Aatma Holistic.
Pareena is a certified sound therapist through modalities of voice and gong, a yoga teacher, an intuitive life coach and the founder of One Ruh. She runs classes, events and workshops and brings sacred chanting into her practice to enhance the sound healing experience.
Angel Turpov is a talented cellist who performs classical music internationally.
