BILINGUAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Are you bilingual (Spanish and English)?
Would you like to help Spanish-speaking families register their young children in school?
Richmond Public Schools will hold Kindergarten Registration on April 19th, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
There will be a two-hour training session that all volunteers must attend, whether or not you have interpreted before -- in schools or in other settings. You will learn how to fill out the necessary forms, how to identify homeless families, and more. Please choose one of the following dates and times:
Wednesday, April 4
9:00 a.m. –11:00 a.m.
Thursday, April 5
4:00 –6:00 p.m.
Monday, April 16
1:00 p.m. –3:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 17
4:00 –6:00 p.m.
All training will be held at the Richmond Technical Center – North Building, 2015 Seddon Way, Richmond, VA 23230, on the 2nd floor, in the Parent Support/Resource Center. Free parking is available in front of and behind the building.
