Our lives are filled with anxiety and uncertainty. Where can we find a reliable source of peace and wisdom? Learning to meditate helps us to rely upon peaceful states of mind and virtuous actions. This series will introduce Buddhist faith and the practice of refuge. It will explain how meditation can offer authentic protection. Appropriate to beginners, as well as those with prior experience of meditation.
The topic is explored throughout the course of this month, as a series, but each class is a standalone presentation, in case you are not able to attend every class. Pre-registration is not required, and drop-ins are welcome. Please try to arrive by 7:30, for the opening meditation.
Class Fee: $15 per class (however, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.)
