Nathalie Kalbach & Birgit Koopsen taught a class in Manhattan in March and I created the monoprint painting above. I made it using acrylic paint and a gelli press and used a process Nathalie and Birgit taught.

For this art session you have some choices. If you want to print using a gelli press or want to make a monoprint painting, you will need to bring the following with you:

• 6 to 8 tubes of acrylic paints (think about the colors you would want and you won't actually use the whole tubes)

• 15 sheets of good quality paper (I use 9 x 12 140 lb watercolor sheets)

• 15 sheets of typing paper

• If you want to print on deli paper or other kind of paper, you can bring some along too.

• A brayer (or two)

• Package of Baby Wipes

• Paper towels

• A stencil or two

If you simply want to work in your journal, bring whatever you need to do so.
