Awma Road & Up the Creek

Nice short evening cruise all the way on the "Aliso Creek Bike Trail" heading North towards Cooks Corners on that "beautiful trail" shown in the picture above. We will turn around at the top of the little hill just before Cooks. It will be getting dark on our way back so bring you lights and be sure they are charged or have fresh batteries. Sunset is around 8:04 PM so bring your lights. It should stay twilight for another half hour or so we might make it most of the way back before total darkness. I have a 500 Lumen light which is like a car headlight and so it will be enough for everyone to see if you stay close to me.

So the timing will be to meet up at 5:45 and ride out at 6:00 PM and return by 8:30 ish. It's about a 2 1/2 hour ride and 26 miles, short but "high quality ALL Bike Trail" ride. If anybody needs directions or is running late... do call me.

PARKING WARNING NOTE: The Aliso Creek Parking lot closes at Sunset so the lot will be "closed and locked" before we return. So you will need to Park on the street or your car will be locked in. The best street parking is actually up the street past the park on the hill. Take a right just past the church and a quick right around the corner and then turn left and park.

Another food place is Rubio's nearby at the: Marketplace At Laguna Niguel, 27000 Alicia Pkwy , Laguna Niguel, CA 92677 Open until 9:00 PM.

Boston Market ( Good Chicken Dinners) is also close to Rubio's in the same Mall.
