What is your experience with robots (or electronics, programming, mechanics)?

I'm studying mechanical engineering right now. I've taken and finished Udacity's CS 101 course in Python and I'm in a beginning programming class in C++ right now. I built LMR's first robot project but nothing beyond that.

What are you hoping to learn/experience in this group?

Anything and everything I can. I'm definitely a novice. Most of all though I would love to learn more about electronics, microcontrollers, sensors and everything related.

Would you be willing to host and/or provide tools for a meetup?

I don't really have anything worth providing haha.

Would you be willing to teach the group a specific skill? What skill would you share?

If I have any skills people would want to learn I would love to. I find it highly unlikely I do though.

I'm currently an undergraduate studying mechanical engineering at BYU. My knowledge is pretty basic, but I LOVE robotics and I'm pretty sure that's the field I want to go into. Oh also I'm part of BYU's mars rover team.
