The next meet is the Highland Park Trail Challenge. Meet in front of the Cornell Cooperative Extension on Highland Ave. in the park. The race isSaturday, August 16 and starts at 10:00am. Registration open at 9:15, get there early, maps are handed out when you register (http://roc.us.orienteering.org/onlineregistration.shtml) at the meet.

Courses
4k and 8k TC
The 4k is the first half of the 8k so you may continue and do the 8k if you make the time cut off.

Road Crossing
There will be a road crossing on the course, at the crosswalk punch the checkpoint and your time is paused. Cross the street safely when traffic is clear, then punch the checkpoint on the other side of the road and your race time resumes.

Bring the kids too, we will have Grid-O orienteering game set up suitable for the younger crowd similar to Sting-O to keep them entertained.
