Adobe Lightroom Classic CC Workshop - In-Depth Training on Image Management

Details
Through a Series of 4 workshops, Bob will train students on the post-processing tool for hobbyists and professionals alike - Lightroom Classic CC. In this, the initial workshop, the class will be trained on the overall benefits of the software. Specifically, this workshop will cover the LIBRARY Module including how to IMPORT and MANAGE your images and how to use the built in tools to quickly find any image.
Join Bob for this 3-hour workshop which will introduce students to Adobe Lightroom - the post-processing software that Bob recommends for most photographers. Lightroom Classic CC is an excellent tool for managing your photographs as well as editing them. A well constructed Lightroom Classic CC catalog will allow you to find any image you are looking for within a minute or less.
The Lightroom Classic CC series is broken up into four separate and unique workshops. Participants are welcome to take one, two, three or all four classes. There are no pre-requisites to attending any single workshop, just understand that each workshop focuses on unique features of the software and there will be limited time to address off-topic questions.
You are encouraged to bring your laptop to the workshop. You are also encouraged to follow along with the presentation and work on your images at home between classes.
Adobe provides a free trial download, so if you don't already own it, you can download the trial version on your laptop and bring it to the class. Please bring a variety of images to practice on during the workshop.
NOTE: Lightroom Classic CC is now only available as a subscription based program. You subscribe to the Photography Creative Cloud for $9.99/month and get access to Lightroom Classic CC and Photoshop CC 2019. Learn more here: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop.edu.html
There is a 20% discount if you register for all FOUR workshops - the series price is $128 for all four workshops. To receive the discounted rate sign up here - https://www.meetup.com/Rochester-Photography-Workshops/events/245542003/
Recommended text: The first book listed is currently in print and available. Adobe recently changed Lightroom CC to Lightroom Classic CC, so the the second book has not been published yet, but is available for pre-order. The new book will cover a few new features, but you would be fine getting either book. You will most likely refer to these books regularly so I would recommend you get the physical copy versus an electronic.

I recommend the Kelby books because while I love to write, I don't have the time or resources to write out lengthy software based handouts for these workshops, especially when several great resources already exist. This entire group of Lightroom workshops will be strongly based upon the recommended text. I urge you to both buy it, and bring it along to the workshop.
