This is the inaugural meeting of the Photo Social Gathering!

If you'd like to submit images to share with the group, the email to send your images is [masked].

Let's face it, we all take more pictures than we know what to do with. For Bob taking the photos is his escape into creativity. Sharing them with others is among his favorite social activities.

At this event we plan to encourage casual and serious photographers to share all aspects of photography - tips, techniques and ideas! There will be a 15-20 minute technical presentation by Bob at each meeting. Just to introduce a topic and raise awareness of new techniques! If you have a topic you would like Bob to cover, please drop me a line! [masked].

There will also be a photo sharing opportunity most months - especially in the winter! You are welcome to bring digital files (3-4 images on a jump drive) or prints, books, iPad, laptop or even just your phone. The whole idea is to share your work and talk to fellow photographers. There is no competition, and critiques are given by request. So come have fun.

We are planning to hold this meeting once a month on the 1st or 2nd Tuesday of the month - depending on the month's schedule.

The first month's topic of discussion is how to select a tripod. Bob will cover some basic considerations when selecting a new tripod, and he will offer some tips to make working with a tripod easier and more enjoyable.

We hope to see you at the first meeting of the Robert DiTommaso Photography Photo Social Gathering!
