Tell us a little something about yourself...

Well, I'm from northern California where I spent most of my time climbing in Lake Tahoe and the beautiful Sierras. I love climbing at Vegas, probably one of my most favorite climbing places, along with bishop California. I also love to mountain bike, mainly trying to keep up with my husband, who also enjoys climbing (how we met). In the winter I like snowboarding but was benched due to shoulder surgery (of course from climbing!). I work as a physical therapist assistant, which I love helping people. I hope to meet and play with more people who share the same interests as I do (climbing, biking, etc).

What type of climbing do you prefer and what is your level of experience?

I mainly prefer sport, trad still spooks me though I have done my fair share of it. I lead mid to hard 11's (well, prior to the surgery, now I'm working into leading my 10's again, got the ok to climb about 2 months ago). I've worked on 12's but have to TR those! I enjoy any level of climb as long as it's fun, I have no problem playing on quality 7's, 8's, etc, in fact alot of the times they are more enjoyable! I am a technical, balancy climber, and like overhangs too, slopers are not my thing! Edges are my favorite!

At what climbing areas do you want to see us meet up?

Since I'm fairly new to the area, any place is good, I haven't climbed at GOG yet, as I am not sure which routes are safe (ie the pitons and bolts). My husband climbed here over 15 years ago when he was in the service and many of the lines are the same protection! I would love to go there though, and I love Shelf road and eleven mile canyon. Haven't done table mountain yet either, and would like to check that out.

Hi! I've been in the Springs now since 2010, from Nor Cal and am looking forward to meet more fellow climbers and getting outside more. Been climbing since 2001, mostly sport now but have a full rack from past trad expeditions!
