This group is open to all interested in Humanism and the good works Humanists are doing in the region and worldwide. This is a community-based congregate that is not only an important place for Humanists, Secularists, or Atheists to speak freely but to also have a visible presence within the region. Having an official group that interacts with our community is vital to maintaining respect for diversity. Freedom from religion relies on the premise that there is freedom of religion. Fighting for the equal rights of all religions guarantees equal rights for the rising number of religious "none"s in America. Therefore, this Humanist group will focus on community activism, support, and service.
