Getting older brings life changes no matter who we are, and being LGBTQ+ can heighten the challenges this brings. Some of us may have physical challenges, we may have lost partners, family, and/or close friends, we may feel isolated or lonely, or we may simply be feeling a lack of opportunity to discuss events whether positive or not so positive with others who share common life experiences.

To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar is an American road comedy-drama film directed by Beeban Kidron and starring Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze, and John Leguizamo as three New York City drag queens who embark on a road trip. Its title refers to an iconic autographed photo of Julie Newmar they carry with them on their journey. Newmar also has a cameo appearance in the film as herself. TWF premiered in 1995 and has since become a cult classic. Problematic? Maybe. Near and dear to the hearts of Connections-age folks? Definitely.
