Cycling Safety Seminar

Come join us for a fun and enlightening presentation on cycling safety presented by Officer Jay Newton with the Rocklin PD.
Jay has been a cyclist for 27 years, and is a member of the Peets Cycling Race team and a former triathlete. Being a cyclist and a law enforcement officer, he brings a unique perspective to the topic. Jay will be covering traffic laws relating to cycling, social media security, protecting your bicycle, general road safety and safety equipment. He will also be offering suggestions on how to follow up with complaints against motorists that many of us experience while riding. The event is open to all ages and all riding levels, but the presentation will be geared toward adults who ride and train on the roadway.
