Copper Mountain - Leadville - Vail Loop w/ Turquoise Lake
Details
This road loop is ride #11 in the RMCC Challenge Series (https://www.rockymountaincyclingclub.com/rmcc-challenge-series).
Commonly known as the "Copper Triangle" or the "Leadville Loop", this ride is for more many people the best ride on the RMCC calendar every year. Doing this route with the club is something to plan your summer around!
For those who don't know, this route takes in Fremont, Tennessee, and Vail Passes and is one of the most scenic rides you can do anywhere. The Challenge Series route also adds in the enjoyable/challenging/quiet loop around Turquoise Lake outside of Leadville
The Copper Triangle loop is 80 miles with about 6500 feet of climbing; adding Turquoise Lake makes it a century and 8300 feet.
This should be considered a drop ride although we will regroup on a periodic basis.
