The more people who have and share information and skills such as grafting the better off we all are. This is an ages old technique that, like so many hands on skills, could be all but lost and forgotten in a generation. It's just one more way to be flexible, adaptable and self reliant. It would be really great if these things could always be shared for free or at cost, but, (sadly from my point of view,) people have to make money so I chose to spend some to experience and support this format. I was very bad at making my graft, and will stick to my story that it was the knife's fault. A long time ago I paid to go to school, where we did some grafting in a woody plant propagation class. I did much better at it then, so if I persist, I think I can make some practical use of this refresher. I'd like my grandson to know about grafting as a natural part of learning from seeing over time how it works.
