What we're about

Greetings and Blessings!

There are Rosicrucians in both Las Vegas and Reno, as well as some smaller cities in Nevada. Please invite new people to our monthly meetings that would be interested in Rosicrucian topics, mysticism, hermetic teachings of Ancient Egypt/Greece, alchemy, spirit, hermetism, kabbalah, natural law, ancient history/ culture, philosophy, etc....and forward this meetup group to those who might be interested. We continue the meetings to bring conscious minds and open hearts together.

Rosicrucian teachings are philosophical and does not necessarily follow any organized religion. The rose cross (Rose-Croix) is an ancient symbol that represents each of us in body and soul. There are monthly gatherigs in Rena and Las Vegas. As usual, all open sessions are offered at no cost.

Interim Contact: Leo Adams 505-681-0277 newmexico@amorc.rosicrucian.org

Rosicrucian Order Weekly October Teleconference on Wednesdays

Wednesday, October 6, at 1:30 pm Pacific time
Rosicrucian Dictionary
A helpful companion in the Rosicrucian studies is the Rosicrucian Manual. We will consider a key part of the Manual; namely, the “Rosicrucian Dictionary.” Its regular reading is a valuable way to review the comprehensive weekly lessons of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC. Join Hugh McCague as we explore this Dictionary, some of its inspiring content, its use for our Self-Mastery, and various creative ways to apply it in service.

Wednesday, October 13, at 1:30 pm Pacific time
Amazing Ancient Egypt
Ancient Egypt is more amazing than most of us even realize. In this teleconference, Grand Master Julie Scott will lead us in exploring some of the most compelling sites in ancient Egypt, including: the Valley of the Whales, with hundreds of ancient whale fossils proving the evolution of whales from land animals to marine mammals; the saltwater Lake Moeris, which the ancient historian Herodotus described as having two giant pyramids in its center; the Giza Plateau complex with the Great Sphinx and Pyramids and some of their more hidden mysteries; and several of the ancient Egyptian Mystery Schools, including Kom Ombo, the healing temple, the temple of the goddess Isis at Philae, and the mysterious Osirion at Abydos. Prepare to be amazed!

Wednesday, October 20, at 1:30 pm Pacific time
Transfiguration: A Mystical Perspective
One of the most spectacular, and at the same time most intriguing, events related in sacred scriptures is that of the Transfiguration described in the Gospels. Many Rosicrucian laws and principles are involved. Join Hugh McCague as we explore transfiguration in its universal meaning and relevance to the story of the Master Yeshua and others, as well as our own mystical development and work in the evolvement of humanity and all.

Wednesday, October 27, at 1:30 pm Pacific time
The Rosicrucian Affiliated Body
One of the special features of being a student of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC is the opportunity to participate and serve at the local Rosicrucian group. These affiliated bodies are specifically designed to assist each person to mature and evolve from neophyte to Self-Master. Join Hugh McCague in exploring the wealth of opportunities for AMORC students to fully experience the Rosicrucian initiatic tradition and fraternity, and to be of service in shared creative work.
