Roskill Masters Swimming Club

Want to train for triathlon, harbour swims or just general fitness? Used to swim and wanting to get back into it on a regular basis? Can you swim 200 metres competently without stopping and want to improve? Do you find in a public pool the public just get in your way? Our club offers twice weekly coached swimming sessions for adults at Cameron Pool Mt Roskill Auckland We swim for an hour, and depending on speed and fitness cover from 1000 - 3000 metres in a session, in our own hired lanes, following a program set by our coach. We have lanes ranging from slow through to fast, so a wide range of ability can be accommodated.

Note this is not suitable for people who cannot already swim 200 metres competently without stopping.

Roskill Masters is a member of New Zealand Masters Swimming (age range 20 upwards to 80+). We hold two friendly training sessions per week in our privately hired lanes, Monday 7:30-8:30 pm and Wednesday evenings from 7-8 pm. Our base is Cameron Pool, Mount Roskill. Come and try out for up to three sessions to see if its for you, we have several lanes to accommodate all speeds. After that we ask you to become a member of the club (Annual cost $88.50) which includes membership of NZ Masters Swimming and entitles you to swim in Masters Swimming competitions worldwide. Not everyone competes, but it is still good value at $2 a week for two coached sessions.
