Important Announcement:
We are now meeting at Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North (UUMAN) at 11420 Crabapple Rd., Roswell, GA. We meet at 7:00 for our meditation and dharma talk followed by discussion/Q&A and Loving Kindness. We will have tea and goodies after for those who can stay as a way of getting to know each other and building Sangha. We look forward to seeing you all so please make plans to join us!
Welcome to the Roswell Insight Meditation Community! We are a teacher led community dedicated to cultivating greater understanding, compassion, and wisdom, through the teachings of the Buddha. We practice in the tradition of Insight Meditation, or Vipassana, which teaches methods for opening the heart and mind, and seeing more clearly into the true nature of our interconnected existence. We welcome practitioners from diverse spiritual and secular traditions. It is not necessary to become a “Buddhist” to participate in our community, and our tradition emphasizes our shared potential for awakening, rather than following a fixed system of beliefs.
