What we’re about
Rotary Adelaide Central club are local people like you, passionate about helping others in our local community, plus those interested in personal development and mixing with others in Adelaide's Business Community.
Formed in March 2020 from an amalgamation of a merger Rotary Adelaide West (55 years old) and Rotary Adelaide South (40 years).
Beyond our projects that wonderful people like you volunteer to assist with, we hold fortnightly face-to-face meetings with interesting special guest speakers (anyone can attend); mixed with a range of other fun events throughout the year.
MEETUP is a great way for us to meet you. And we are hoping that the sorts of projects we get involved with will match your interests. OR perhaps you would like to suggest a new idea? That's how Rotary works worldwide. Passionate people driving ideas and projects forward as a team. Don't be shy.
We will be honest in saying that we hope we can encourage you to visit one of our fortnightly Thursday Lunchtime (1pm to 2pm) regular meetings at the Terrace Hotel, 208 South Terrace, Adelaide. And that you might down the track even consider becoming a full member of our Club. BUT - we never pressure people to do this.
We Keep our Current Projects on the Go update here:-

Please do telephone (08) 7444 5086 and have a chat with Glenda or Bill for more info.
Every Rotarian worldwide started their life in Rotary taking a first step of having a chat with a Club. We're all just like you. Locals coming together. Forming friendships and enjoying working side by side.
We would love to hear from you.

He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment.
And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?
From real life stunt man and director David Leitch, a new hilarious, hard-driving, all-star apex-action thriller and love letter to action movies and the hard-working and under-appreciated crew of people who make them: The Fall Guy.
Oscar® nominee Ryan Gosling (Barbie, La La Land, Drive) stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario)—goes missing.
While the film’s ruthless producer maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.

Happy New Year - Rotary Adelaide Central's team hope that you have a prosperous, fun and fulfilling 2024!
Each fortnight our Club meets in the Adelaide CBD, to talk about our projects; share information about any general Rotary business and most weeks to hear a great guest speaker (for about 25 minutes).
Topics are highly varied, very informative and always very interesting. Meetings often draw numerous visitors interested in the topics presented. We would love you to be one of those visitors.
You are NOT be expected to attend our Club meetings every fortnight, however, this is an opportunity for you to meet our members and learn a bit more about Rotary if you choose to come along.
Most of our members also have a meal for lunch. But it is not mandatory. We do need to know if you will be wanting to eat in advance so we ensure our catering team are prepared.
The atmosphere is very social. Meet a new business contact. Share a story. Present an idea for a project.
We're sure you will also enjoy the atmosphere. Feel free to bring a friend or colleague. Our membership is a mix of people in Business / Employment plus retirees who enjoy one another's company and the opportunity to serve our community through Rotary.
We welcome any member of the public to come along. You will not be pressured into becoming a member. But we will happily introduce you to the work of our Club and members if you're interested to hear.
