What we're about

Rotary is a business networking and service membership-based organization. Upon joining, Rotary members attend weekly club meetings, and participate financially by paying yearly dues, lunch fees, and supporting fundraising activities. If you can't make it to every meeting, that's OK! Join us at our service projects, business networking and other scheduled get-togethers.

We engage the community by inviting you through Meetup to our events, and encourage like-minded people to consider joining the club. The events on this page are your first step to getting engaged. Learn more about our Rotary club by attending an event, or reaching out to an organizer.

Rotary is an international organization of people united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world through fellowship and commitment to “service above self.” Our Club is the Rotary Club of Chicago Near South. Our mission is to provide support for international projects such as the eradication of polio, student scholarships, and disaster relief as well as provide direct involvement and financial support to other non-profit organizations and community causes in our area. There are over 30,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide with approximately 1,200,000 members total.
