Today's presentation is a reprise of an introductory talk given many times throughout RubiABQ's nine year history.
In the past, this presentation has been done using a terminal and a whirlwind of typing to reveal important information about Ruby that is easily overlooked. This time, however, all the typing has been done in advance and Markdeck has been used to create a handful of slides. As such, it's also an experiment in using Markdeck to create and present.
There will be free pizza and beverages and a little time for people to introduce themselves before the presentation.
During and after the presentation, the presenter will happily answer any questions, including his experience so far with Markdeck.
Although we're getting off to a slow start, RubiABQ is making progress on using our GitHub repository and Markdown to keep our members better informed about what we've done previously and what we'll do in the future. We'll discuss this more after the presentation.
We look forward to seeing you there!
