The Running & Walking Group of the Bluegrass was formed to provide those of us who lead busy lives and who find it hard to work in time for exercise a place and time to meet others in the same situation for group runs / walks. It is too easy to go home after work and tell ourselves that we will workout "tomorrow". If you are interested in meeting new people who want to start exercising on a regular basis, and if you welcome an opportunity to be motivated in this endeavor, please join the club and attend some of our events. We can certainly tailor the group to the preferences of Members. Safety is of utmost concern in this group, and an event will be not take place with fewer than three participants signed up to attend, unless the individuals know one another and agree among themselves to proceed. The group is open to individuals of all fitness levels -- those who have never worked out before, those who have taken a long sabbatical and want to get back into the swing of exercise, and those who are in top-notch shape.
