Running 20/20 Launch Meetup @ Jaarbeurs Innovation Mile (JIM) Utrecht
Running 20/20 has moved into a new office, in the inspiring JIM Innovation Community (http://jim-utrecht.nl/) in Utrecht. Our Running 20/20 Dec 2017 Meetup will be a special housewarming, held at the Jaarbeurs Innovation Mile or JIM (http://jim-utrecht.nl/partners-leden/), to celebrate our move to a new office.
In our Meetup format, speakers will deliver a 'Ted Talk-like' presentation. The presentations are high-content and are meant to trigger thoughts and (inter)action. Naturally, drinks and snacks will be provided. This time, the Meetup will be about the launch of Running 20/20 (http://running2020.com/) in the officespace of JIM (http://jim-utrecht.nl/partners-leden/).

(*) Pilates for Runners / HRV test
• The Pilates for Runners test is a unique test that will be given by Dennis Licht, supported by Margaret Huzarska and Sebastian Buurma. Margaret is a JIM alumna and started the Pilates movement there, Sebastian is a HRV specialist
• The Pilates for Runners test combines exercises that are typical for running with exercises that are typical for Pilates and combines all that with HRV measurements. This unique test can help participate to relax and improve their fitness, but the HRV measurements will reveal how the participants experienced the test
• HRV measurements will be done before and after the test, using the smartphones of the participants and the HRV Camera app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/camera-heart-rate-variability/id788460316%3Fmt=8). This is should show some interesting differences, assuming that HRV can be used as a stress indicator and that Pilates can be used as an intervention to lower stress levels
• Please note that the HRV Camera app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/camera-heart-rate-variability/id788460316%3Fmt=8) currently only works on iPhone
• Feedback about the test and the measurements will be provided later that evening. This will be high-level feedback. All participants will receive a personal report in a few days after the test
• The full test (with measurements) is open to 15 participants. Additional participants are free to participate, but then without the measurements
Please register and RVSP (https://www.meetup.com/Running2020/events/240427602/) to receive updates on speakers, topics and other things. Feel free to contact the organizers if you like to deliver a one minute pitch. All speakers all requested to deliver their presentations in English. However, Q&A will be facilitated in English and Dutch.
A final word regarding our main sponsor: this Meetup is being powered by our host JIM (http://jim-utrecht.nl/partners-leden/)! JIM has also been the official office of Running 20/20 since Oct 1st 2017.
