We are inviting the dutch Rust community to showcase what they have done with Rust in 2018. We have time for 6 short talks (10-15 minutes) and enough space for demos.

Currently scheduled talks:

• Roy Buitenhuis about combining Rust and RTOS's for embedded devices
• Jan Blom about Rust <-> C FFI efficiency for immune repertoire applications
• Erwin Gribnau about Technolution's demos
• Sendil Kumar about WebAssembly
• Gerard Klijs about using Kafka + Schema Registry in Rust

Currently scheduled demos:

• CrowdSim3d - A crowd simulation add-on for Blender
• Rijkswaterstaat CCTV - Videowall system
• Combining Rust and RTOS's for embedded devices
• Rust in paging systems for emergency services
• Event Sourcing application using Kafka + Schema Registry in Rust

Drinks and food will be available at the start of and during the meetup.
