Hello fellow Rustaceans!
It is amazing to see that we are already 48 members strong. We hope that Rust Kraków meetup will become a nice and friendly platform to share our experience in using the "most loved programming language"*
Our meeting will have an open format with one or two planned presentations and a spot for ligthing talks or any discussions. We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience (or lack thereof) in using Rust. Our first meeting is going to be introductory one. We are planning two short presentations and a discussion on what everyone would expect from the next events. If anyone would like to share something - just ping the organizers and we will be more than happy to help.
"No matter how far I go, I always go back to native" - Tomo (Tomasz Baranski) will describe his journey with using various programming languages and what are the benefits of writing code that is compiled to be run natively by CPU.
"Rust & Security with Suricata's parsers as an example" - Forger (Jacek Calusinski) is going to present how using Rust takes away a myriad of security problems troubling many other approaches.
Collective Sense is going to provide us with Pizza, beer and drinks.
See you there!
