Rust LA Monthly Meetup - Hack Night

We are finishing up the Stockfighter SDK (https://github.com/rust-los-angeles/stockfighter-sdk-rs) and will be transitioning to solving some stockfighter.io problems. Other people in the community have already noticed the SDK and have been asking questions about it too! With the SDK in a good spot, we can discuss and implement some interesting solutions to some of these problems.

I will introducing a way to be an interactive (REPL-like) approach to building a stockfighter.io application using copperline and nom. These are both powerful Rust crates that complement each other well.

Agenda:

• 6:30 - 7:00 Arrive and eat/drink.

• 7:00 - 7:30 Short talk on using copperline and nom.

• 7:30 - 8:30 Start hacking! Grab food and drink whenever you need a break.

If you are new to Rust, you can start working on some of the exercism.io Rust exercises (http://exercism.io/languages/rust). No experience required as there will be people present that can help you get started.

If you are not interested in participating, then you are more than welcome to still attend the meetup. I will have food and drink for everyone. Sit back, relax and we can talk about Rust for a few hours.
