Rust LA Monthly Meetup - Hack Night

The Hack Night is a gathering of people who are interested in Rust. There will not be a presentation, but there will be people present to answer questions. I order enough dinner for everyone (message me for dietary restrictions). Bring your projects, your questions, things you want to discuss, and talk with other Rustaceans!

If you do not have anything specific to work on, we have a few suggestions:

• Brand new to Rust? Start here (https://doc.rust-lang.org/book/getting-started.html). You can also try some of the exercism.io Rust exercises (http://exercism.io/languages/rust). No experience required and there will be people present that can help you.

• The game Frozen Bubble (http://frozen-bubble.org/) is an open source game that has a networking component built in. We can use Rust and Piston to port the client to Rust. We can also use Rust to port the game server to something more stable and performant. The source code is at https://github.com/kthakore/frozen-bubble .
