Talk: Makepad - Creative software development in Rust

Makepad is a new creative software development platform, written from the ground up in Rust. In this talk Rik Arends will highlight some of the unique angles how Rust is helping:

• Writing UI styling shader code in Rust syntax, using procedural macros
• Building scalable UIs, thanks to strong typing and borrow checking.
• How Rust is the ideal environment to build native+web combo using Wasm.

All code shown in this talk is available under MIT license on Github.
