Hands-on parsing in Rust!

Details

Come try your hand at parsing data using Rust code! Michael Layzell will provide a guided introduction to writing parsers using the popular Rust library called nom. We'll then have a hands-on workshop session - attendees are encouraged to solve the provided parsing challenge using their new skills. Bring a laptop, or pair up with someone else for some collaborative fun! Never written Rust code before? This is a great opportunity to experience it for the first time with the assistance of helpful mentors!

If you have written a parser in Rust using another library and would be interested in giving a short talk on the subject, let us know!

As an extension of the Rust programming community, we require all attendees and presenters to abide by our code of conduct for this event. Learn more about it at https://gist.github.com/jdm/b4ab28407294a08439ea
