Our monthly meetups are for people interested in privacy, security and freedom.

In an online world increasingly subject to violations of our personal and commercial information the SafeNetwork offers a comprehensive solution. The World Wide Web is broken, let's not fix it, let's replace it!

This is bold but very serious proposition.

Please join us to find out how, based upon what we already know about creating and publishing applications on the WWW, we can create a new, safe, secure environment for connecting and doing business, without threats to our welfare, civil liberties and commercial independence.

This month we're back after a break, in our brand new venue. We'll be updating on the progress made by the development team at MaidSafe and Alfie John, organiser of the Melbourne Rust meetup will give us a high level view on why the project moving from C++ to Rust was such a good idea. This won't be over-technical.
