S.A.L.T. (Singles Actively Loving and Serving God Together)
seeks to bring Biblically-adherent Chicago-area Christian Singles together for the purpose of genuine fellowship as brothers and sisters in Christ. Our activities range from sporting events, concerts, Bible studies, plays, dinners, movies, hikes, etc. along with serving opportunities. Our S.A.L.T. meet-up group is unique because we not only seek to build strong community with each other, but we also seek to be salt and light to the singles around us who do not yet know the Lord. As such, we seek to honor God in all of our activities and interactions with each other and with guests who have been invited to our events in an effort to encourage one another, build new friendships, and reflect the love of our Heavenly Father to others.
If you're living a Christ-centered lifestyle and are looking to meet and build friendships with committed single Christians in the Chicago area, then you should definitely consider checking us out!
S.A.L.T. is a private meetup group and membership approval is required before admittance. While we are not a dating group, if healthy dating relationships occur within S.A.L.T., it's expected that your actions remain honorable to the Lord.
As a meetup.com group, of utmost importance is the fostering of a safe and comfortable experience for all members, online and during events. S.A.L.T. leadership will not tolerate any comments or behaviors that are inappropriate, disrespectful and/or may that make other members uncomfortable. Such actions may lead to a dismissal from S.A.L.T. If conflict arises between either members or guests at a S.A.L.T. event (or online) it is expected that the matter first be dealt with honestly between the two individuals, as described in Matthew 18:15, before bringing the matter to S.A.L.T. leadership. Members of this group are expected to take responsibility for their own actions. As followers of Christ, we acknowledge that we are to be honorable in our interactions with one another.
