What we're about

Everyone wants more inner peace and happiness. How do we do this with such busy, hectic lives? Kadampa Meditation is about understanding and experiencing how to cultivate and maintain being happy and how to share that with others. Through meditation and ancient Buddhist wisdom, we can increase our love and compassion for ourself and others by reducing our negative, disturbed states of mind and replacing them with positive, peaceful states.

Meditations on Embracing Our Differences - VIA ZOOM

3502 Adams Ave

LIVESTREAM via Zoom GUIDED MEDITATION & TEACHINGS No experience necessary. Everyone welcome! Go to www.meditateinsandiego.org Mondays 6:30 – 7:45pm – $10 Embracing Our Differences Led by Kadam Angie Kane At present, our lives appear to be filled with events causing divisiveness and conflict, while the ability to “listen” and to find solutions appear difficult, if not impossible — even within our own families. What is the solution? Buddha’s teachings explain simple, yet effective methods for dissolving our differences and living with an understanding and care for one another. These Monday evening talks and meditations will focus on developing the mind of equanimity, which is a balanced, warm, and friendly state of mind towards everyone. Angie is a truly inspiring teacher who is well loved for her compassion, wisdom and clear, practical teachings. Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be Buddhist to take part!
