IMPORTANT: Please read everything below first to find the answers to most of your questions.
Simply hit the check mark next to the words "Are You Going?" above and you'll be added to the free guest list! There's no need to message the host or post a comment in order to RSVP - you're in, period. Invite as many friends as you like! Just add your +1s when you RSVP and they're covered, even if they're not members of our group. We do not need the names of each of your non-member friends, just the total number of your guests. (Please message the event host if you're planning to bring more than 5 guests.) All shows at the Mad House are now 18+.
IF YOUR PLANS CHANGE:
No flaking please! If you've RSVP'd "Yes" and then can't make it, PLEASE remember to edit your RSVP to "No" at least 24 hours before the event, ESPECIALLY if you have several guests. The venue uses these guest list figures to plan staff numbers for the night, so flaking is not only hugely inconsiderate, but it affects people's livelihoods as well as the club's ability to offer you free entry in the future. If you're a maybe or bookmarking for now, go ahead and RSVP "Yes", but PLEASE set a reminder on your phone's calendar to revisit this by the day before so you can update as needed.
Please arrive at 9:15 PM and check in at the box office. Have each person in your party show their ID and mention that you're on the San Diego Comedy Junkies Meetup group guest list. The box office personnel will check off your name and issue a yellow laminated Meetup card to you and each of your +1s. You'll then be invited to wait in an orderly line outside until seating starts. Showtime will be at 9:45 PM, but anyone arriving after 9:15 is not, I repeat NOT, guaranteed free entry. It's Saturday night in the Gaslamp, and if the event is near capacity, paying walk-up customers will get priority. Please also note that there's no point in arriving way before 9:15, as you will just have a longer wait outside until showtime.
We'll congregate in the line outside while the early show wraps up. Meetup members will get seated as a group and enjoy some of the best seats in the house!

Car must be picked up by 1:30am or a $45 charge applies the next day
Horton Plaza garage refers to the "fruit" and "vegetable" garages. The easiest garage entrance is at 4th and F St (right by the Mad House's new location). There is ALWAYS ample parking available on levels 5, 6 and 7.
EATING & DRINKING:

There is no specific dress code. This is San Diego; there will be people dressed up and people in sleeveless hoodies and flip flops. No judgment here!
