Abstract:

Come dig into Polymer, a library for creating reusable Web Components to power your applications and get them online quickly. We will cover the basics of connecting Polymer with Firebase, a NoSQL-driven backend service. You will come away able to get up and running with Polymer, and have a greater understanding of NoSQL.

Bio:

Eric Stevens is a Senior Web Developer working at Infinite Web Design. He has been working professionally since graduating from Western Michigan University in 2004 with a BA in Information Technology. He has worked at companies such as Plex Systems and Minacs utilizing C#, ASP, Oracle, and MSSQL. His work consists of mostly designing and working in ColdFusion, crafting JavaScript, building server infrastructure, and teasing data out of mySQL. He enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and three children, exploring the world, and relaxing on the beach. Eric Stevens lives and works in Lake Orion.
