Web Components: (Not) The Silver Bullet - With Manuel Rueda

Details
Lightning Talk with Brandon Lyons:
Automatic Semicolon Insertion (ASI) is a feature of the ECMAScript specification that will insert semicolons at the end of javascript statements/declarations, if certain conditions are met. These conditions tend to not occur very often, but can still come back to bite a developer. In this lightning talk we will quickly go over the possible conditions and scenarios for Automatic Semicolon Insertion, and how to avoid them.
Featured Talk with Manuel Rueda:
Manuel will explain what are and what are not Web Components with a not-that-opinionated comparison with common front end frameworks and show how they can be used along side of those frameworks.
Manuel is a self-taught software developer born in Argentina. In 2018 he moved to Michigan as part of a relocation opportunity. His current dedication is anything with JavaScript--Front-End, Back-End, bot... you name it. Currently he is an Associate Architect at Thomson Reuters based in Ann Arbor.
